Āhua was born from a mother’s intuition.

When two of my children struggled with eczema — and I myself suffered terribly with dermatitis — I searched for something truly pure, safe, and effective. Yet everything I found fell short, often filled with unnecessary fillers and hidden synthetics.

Trusting that nature already held the answers, I began creating my own formulations — simple, potent, and deeply restorative. I wasn't looking to create a vast range, but a thoughtfully curated collection — each product purposeful, each one something the skin would recognise, absorb, and respond to.

After years of research and refinement, I discovered a powerful synergy: organic New Zealand grass-fed beef tallow, carefully infused with healing botanicals and extracts.

That first jar — now known as Magic Skin Butter — became a multi-purpose essential. Designed to nourish dry skin, calm inflammation, support repair, and restore a healthy, radiant glow.

Halo Skin Oil followed, created to work in rhythm with the skin's natural intelligence. A lightweight, nutrient-rich blend that delivers hydration, balance, and luminosity — while targeting fine lines and keeping skin youthful, radiant, and glowing.

And so the collection continues to grow — slowly, intentionally, and only when nature offers something truly worthy of a place in your ritual.

My background as an artist continues to shape everything I create — a focus on composition, balance, and the way light, texture, and nature interact. Āhua is an extension of that philosophy. Rooted in honesty, guided by nature.
